Just a few of the advancements in Orthodontics include:
- Brackets are smaller and most adult patients choose ceramic brackets (e.g. Inspire Ice) for improved cosmetics.
- Treatment times are shorter
- The arch wires (connecting brackets) are fastened differently to prevent irritation of the gums and cheek
- Invisalign (the invisible way to straighten your teeth) is now available
- Lingual Braces are attached to the back of the teeth for even more enhanced cosmetics and the almost totally invisible look. Lingual braces are available on selected patients.
